This may seem funny to most who saw the pic's of the roots still on the plant, but back in the 80's before all the research was was done on growing Cannabis that was a common practice. When harvest time came growers hung up entire plants to dry with the thought in mind that the THC would drain from the roots to the buds. This was however untrue as research has shown. All over the world there are practices that most growers would not do like in South Africa there are tribes that harvest crops and pile entire plants in ditches to dry. I remember reading in High Times back in the eighties that Moroccan Hash was made after plants were harvested then placed on tin roofs to dry for days.
